How quickly can you get to me? +
For break-in callouts we treat it the same as an emergency lockout - someone is moving toward you within minutes. Average arrival time is 30 minutes across Wodonga and Albury, often faster in the CBD. We always lead with phone callouts so we can get the right tools and parts on board before we leave.
Will you board up smashed glass? +
Yes. We carry plywood and fixings on every emergency call. We can secure broken windows or kicked-in doors temporarily until proper repairs (glaziers, carpenters) can be arranged - usually that's first thing the next business morning.
Do you write reports for insurance? +
Always - and at no extra charge. We document the damage with photos, list every lock and component we replaced, note the cause where it's clear, and provide our MLAA-licensed locksmith details. Most major Australian insurers accept our reports as standard.
Should I touch anything before you arrive? +
If the police are involved (you've reported the break-in), don't touch anything until they've been through. If it's already been processed or you didn't report it (sometimes the case for smaller incidents), feel free to make safe - but try to leave damage in place for our photos so the insurance documentation is accurate.
What about after-hours response? +
Yes, we treat break-ins as priority emergencies, day or night. Same flat pricing - we don't charge extra for nights, weekends, or public holidays. Just call and we'll be there.
Can you upgrade the security as part of the repair? +
Definitely - and most clients do. While we've got the door open and the locks out, it's the perfect moment to upgrade to better hardware: stronger deadbolts, restricted-key systems, reinforced strike plates. Often the insurance covers the upgrade as part of the claim.
